Purchasing at Rhodia covers six main areas: Raw Materials, Industrial Services & Supplies, Logistics, Packaging, General Expenses and Energy. 

Purchasing looks to develop partnerships and sustainable relationships with suppliers with the aim of generating productivity opportunities and continuous improvement.

Our Purchasing department's main objective is to act as a “strategic business partner and service provider” to Rhodia's business units.

Purchasing practices and processes respect the Rhodia Way values of corporate responsibility toward our suppliers.

Internally, buyers are directed to respect a Code of Ethics which requires us to:

• Act with honesty and integrity in building sound and sustainable relationships with suppliers, and avoid any conflict of interest or potential conflict of interest between personal and business relationships.

• Act in good faith, responsibly, with due care, competence and diligence, without misrepresenting material facts or allowing any employee’s independent judgement to be misguided.

• Comply, as an employee of the Solvay Group, with all applicable internal rules and procedures.
