Rhodia Guatemala was formed in 1988 when Rhône-Poulenc acquired the Union Carbide Company (Unicar).

The Rhodia organization known as Caricam is located in Mexico and Guatemala, where we operate sales centers servicing Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.

From the Guatemala office, our commercial team is responsible for developing Rhodia's businesses in Central America and the Caribbean on different end markets such as cosmetics, paints, cigar, pharmacy, textile and others. To complete our portfolio, we have also been working to introduce new technologies including engineering plastics and oil and gas additives.
