A major goal for Rhodia R&D is to contribute to improving the competitiveness of our existing processes and the development and renewal of our products ranges.
All over the world, our chemical engineers, technology experts and plant support teams work to optimize the productivity, quality and safety of our existing plants.
In the same way, we mobilize our customers' support and development teams to continually extend and improve our Novecare, Polyamide, Silcea and Acetow products in line with markets needs. In 2008, 22 percent of Rhodia’s sales were generated by products less than five years old and 30 percent of sales are of products that address sustainable development priorities.
