Intermediates and Solvents Latin America

Continuous improvement of our product range, service performance and quality is the main focus of Rhodia’s Intermediates and Solvents (ISAL) business.
With the aim of forecasting market needs and adapting its products to new uses, the ISAL business unit has a team exclusively focused on technology and development. It is supported by Rhodia’s Paulínia Research Center (SP) and maintains permanent contact with other international laboratories in the Group's Polyamide Enterprise.

- Rhodia's Paulínia production site produces nylon salt, which is the essential raw material for Rhodia Polyamide's other business units in Latin America: Textile Yarns, Industrial Yarns and Engineering Plastics.
These products, each day, gain a wide diversity of new uses: shoe soles, blood bags, cleaning sponges, types of flooring, napkins, paper filters, headphones and powder paint, and other uses.
New developments underway include applications with yarns, inks, plastics, adhesives, paper and leather treatment, polyurethane, synthetic resins, food additives and others.
