Rhodia was established in Latin America in 1919, initially in Brazil. The company supplies products to a wide range of markets.
Rhodia now has eight industrial plants on the continent - five in Brazil, two in Venezuela and one in Argentina. The company also has commercial sales offices in nine Latin American countries to service customers in all regions.
Our industrial plants in Brazil are located in the cities of Santo André (where we have two plants), São Bernardo do Campo, Jacareí and Paulínia, all of them in the São Paulo State, with the company's regional headquarters in São Paulo city. In Venezuela, the plants are located in the cities of Barquisimeto and Valencia, and in Florencio Varella, Argentina.
Rhodia also has commercial offices across Latin America in Mexico, Guatemala, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.
A Rhodia center of research and development is located in Paulínia, Brazil, which is also home to the Instituto Rhodia, an organization established to develop our contribution to the development of local communities through the principles of sustainable development.
