MACKALENE 426-100

High active cationic surfactant that is used primarily as a conditioner in hair care products. Mackalene 426-100 has an advantage over quaternary ammonium cationics in that it rinses more readily from the hair and thereby prevents build-up or a “matted” feel. Mackalene 426-100 is also compatible with anionic surfactants and is recommended as a conditioner in clear shampoo formulations. When properly formulated, it does not depress foam or lather. At an active level of 4%, Mackalene 426-100 is non-irritating to the skin and eyes. Mackalene 426-100 does not contain any preservatives.
