MACKALENE 426 K

Cationic surfactant that is used primarily as a conditioner for hair care products. Mackalene 426 K has an advantage over quaternary ammonium cationics in that it rinses more readily from the hair and thereby prevents build-up or a “matted” feel. Mackalene 426-K is also compatible with anionic surfactants and is recommended as a conditioner in both clear shampoo formulations and skin cleansers. When properly formulated, it does not depress foam or lather. At an active level of 4%, Mackalene 426-K is non-irritation to the skin and eyes. This grade is preserved with Kathon® CG.
